Northern European Business Development Manager

They are seeking a commercially astute, proactive professional with an established network to drive market expansion and broader commercial opportunities.
This pivotal role will focus on identifying new business prospects and expanding the network across Northern Europe. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing commercial strategies to enhance sales performance while leveraging existing industry connections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the implementation of a regional growth strategy to increase market share and profitability.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities within Northern European animal safety markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customer (B2B) across the regions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new business enquiries and long-term partnerships in your area.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and identify future opportunities for growth.
Key Requirements
- Extensive technical and commercial experience within the European Animal Health, Veterinary, Animal Safety or Agricultural and biosecurity sectors.
- A well-established, documented commercial network across Europe, with the ability to leverage contacts for business development.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable working remotely, with flexibility for regular travel with nights away from home
- Location: Northern Europe Based (Scandinavia, Benelux, Germany regions)
