Job Title: Fertiliser Sales and Technical Support
Department: Fertiliser Department
Reports To: Fertiliser Product Manager
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Liaising with suppliers on product formulations/ pricing.
Supporting members of the sales team with product recommendations.
Interpreting soil analysis results and giving nutrient recommendations
Promote Enhanced Efficiency Fertilisers such as Urea Inhibitors
Working with the Fertiliser Product Manager to determine margins and manage product lines/ campaigns.
Undertake fertiliser product sales against pre-defined targets and goals, as reasonably set by the company.
Talking to customers to sell all fertiliser products and offer technical and commercial advice.
Attending sales meetings with the Area Managers to provide market updates and training.
Maintain existing sales and develop new sales in all fertiliser product areas.
Participate in sales and product training events and sales meetings

FACTS Qualified
Work 8.30 till 17.00, 5 days a week, with an expectation to work additional hours as necessary in line with seasonal requirements.
Be available during working hours to both customers and colleagues.
Undertake constant structured communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Build, maintain and retain client / supplier relationships.
Communicate clearly and effectively by telephone, email and customer visits.
Create and maintain accurate records.
Actively suggest different ways to promote and market the companies’ products & services.
Work effectively and constructively with the Fertiliser team.
Liase with other product managers where appropriate to ensure ACT cover all enquiries.
