European Business Development Manager - Italy

Do you have proven relationships within the pet industry?
Do you want to be part of a global organisation, that is experiencing major growth and innovation within the pet sector?

This is a pivotal role for our client and will focus on driving revenue by identifying new business opportunities and establishing partnerships with retail outlets and B2B2C prospects. You will play a key part in developing strategies that enhance the brand’s presence and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the European pet retail and B2B2C channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pet retail partners, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts to secure new business and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for client needs.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to develop strategies to aid to successful growth of the company 

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the European pet sectors
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Happy to work a Hybrid model office/home based 3 days a week based in Italy.
