Business Development Manager

 

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who wants to be part of a business where you can make your mark?

Our exclusive clients, a global leader in their sector are seeking a Business development manager to join their growing international sales team.

Based out of the UK and reporting directly to the Sales Director this role will focus primarily on developing new business within the fast paced veterinary industry 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and explore new business opportunities, including market expansion, customer acquisition, partnerships, sales growth, and product development.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients to grow new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis, staying updated on trends and gathering customer feedback to enhance service offerings.
  • Generate leads through prospecting and develop strategies to expand into new and existing markets.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and sales teams to align on business strategies and maintain clear communication.
  • Represent the company at industry events and key client meetings, supporting sales efforts and building rapport.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of selling, hitting sales, or similar, targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other languages are desirable.
  • Strong focus on the customer and delivering a great experience.
  • Business and project management experience.
  • Good financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of core principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services.
  • Based in the Sheffield area with the ability to travel UK wide
