We have an exciting new opportunity for a skilled Finance Manager or Management Accountant looking for the next step in their career.

In this role, you will oversee:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to senior management.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, working closely with senior management to track performance and identify opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvements.

  • Cost Control: Oversee the analysis of product costs and profitability, ensuring that cost structures align with operational and strategic goals.

  • Retail Customer Focus: Provide financial insights into retail customer transactions, pricing strategies, and sales performance, ensuring profitability and alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and inventory levels to ensure optimal working capital and liquidity.

  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, driving continuous improvement in financial controls and reporting systems.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience within Finance from a commercial manufacturing environment/B2B. Additionally, specific exposure to working with retail customers would be advantageous.

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or equivalent.

  • Experienced with financial software, in particular Sage and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data in an understandable and actionable way for non-financial stakeholders.
