Area Sales Manager - South West 

Do you currently work within agricultural sales and looking for your next step? Yes.. this opportunity is not to be missed!

My client is well known within the farming communities, going above and beyond for their end users. This role is a remote field-based role, covering South West areas. The successful candidate will take on a pre-existing sales ledger and will continue to grow the sales for this area, whilst providing first-class customer service and understanding the needs of their client base. 



Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and increase sales within the defined territory in line with KPI’s

  • Generate new business and up-sell products to existing customers

  • Be able to provide a knowledgeable service to farmers, when selling the products

  • Have a clear sales strategy when presenting in front of  new customers

  • Clear organisation, with the use of the CRM in producing sales reports

  • Constant market knowledge of the territory and the wider UK agricultural industry

  • Attend shows, and trade events within the agricultural calendar 

  • Willingness to learn about new products and adapt selling techniques

 

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of agricultural sales experience essential

  • Fantastic communication both internally with colleagues and externally with customers 

  • Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to work under pressure

  • Be a natural at building relationships, with a proven track record

  • Work collaboratively and bring new ideas and concepts to the team

  • Based within the territory - Ideally around the M4 Corridor 

  • Be able to travel and spend nights away from home when required

 

Remuneration:

  • Base Salary + Bonus & Commission
