This is a field-based sales leadership role focused on expanding market presence and building relationships with independent veterinary practices across the UK. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to business development, engaging with practice decision-makers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and delivering a national growth strategy. Responsibilities

Develop and execute a national sales strategy to engage independent veterinary practices and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Drive new business development through in-person visits (3 days per week field-based), attendance at trade shows, and proactive outreach.

Lead the full sales cycle from initial contact and qualification to demonstration, proposal, and closing.

Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and customer success to ensure a seamless prospect-to-client journey.

Build trusted relationships within the veterinary community by offering relevant insights, solutions, and support.

Maintain accurate pipeline data using CRM tools (Pipedrive experience advantageous).

Report on key sales metrics and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.

Share market feedback to help inform product, marketing, and strategic direction.
Requirements

Proven experience in a sales role within SaaS, or veterinary.

Experience or familiarity with the UK veterinary sector strongly preferred.

A strong network within the independent veterinary practice ecosystem is advantageous.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Highly self-motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset.

Confident using CRM platforms and other sales technologies.

Full UK driving license and ability to travel nationwide.
