As a Veterinary Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the sales of high value equipment, solutions, and services. You will work closely with both internal teams and customers to understand their needs, deliver tailored solutions, and achieve sales targets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and to make a significant impact on the growth to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including senior managers and executives.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and product training for customers.
- Develop tailored solutions based on customer needs and specifications.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to secure deals.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Ability to get stuck in with installations and repairs.
What's required?:
- Proven experience in capital equipment sales or a similar technical sales role.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to perform simple installations.
