The responsibilities of the role include:
- Carry out and provide Artificial Insemination services across a variety of dairy systems
- Engage and build relationships with customers and provide advice and education where necessary
- Heat detection in dairy cows using both the traditional chalk method and electronic heat detection systems
- Accurately enter data into a central database and produce monthly fertility reports
- Communicate effectively and openly with both internal and external stakeholders
- Resilient and able to adapt to different situations as they arise
What are the requirements of the role?
- Dairy sector knowledge and experience
- Livestock handling skills
- Artificial Insemination qualification, required
- Based in either Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire or Gloucestershire
- Strong work ethic, a team-player and an eagerness to learn
- Full driving license
